Empower. Heal. Rise.

DEVII — Digital Empowerment for Violence Intervention & Independence — is a survivor-centred support system designed to help people move from crisis toward stability, on their own terms and at their own pace.

A Positive Outcomes Alliance solution

A survivor-centred mission.

DEVII treats survivors as agents of their own future. The system organizes information, options and continuity, while qualified professionals review and support every step. Each participant controls their own consent, boundaries and pace — nothing moves forward without their say-so.

DEVII is developed under POA's human-supervised model: technology prepares and organizes; trained staff review, decide and accompany.

Intended outcomes

  • Safety
  • Housing
  • Financial stability
  • Child care
  • Legal information
  • Counselling
  • Employment
  • Community rebuilding

Support pathways.

Participant-controlled consent

Participants decide what is shared. Every permission can be limited, paused or withdrawn at any time.

Continuity summaries

Plain-language summaries participants review and correct before anything moves forward.

Plain-language options

Information and resources organized in clear, respectful language, prepared for review by qualified staff.

Human review of safety-sensitive items

Nothing safety-sensitive is actioned without review by a qualified professional.

Outcome tracking

Progress measured across safety, housing, finances, child care, legal information, counselling, employment and community rebuilding.

Safety guardrails.

DEVII is not an emergency service, counsellor, lawyer, social worker or autonomous decision-maker. It produces no risk scores, diagnoses, eligibility decisions, clinical advice, legal advice or automated recommendations. Qualified professionals retain control of all sensitive decisions, and each partner organization controls its own policies and data.

If someone is in immediate danger, call 911 if it is safe to do so. In Ontario, the Assaulted Women's Helpline is 1-866-863-0511.

Walk through the interactive demonstration sandbox, which uses fictional data only, or read how the HERO approach and safety boundaries are designed.

DEVII is shown here as a product demonstration. A future production version would require isolated infrastructure, security controls, privacy and legal review, testing, training and a formal handover.

Safety boundary

This website and the DEVII demonstration are not emergency services. If you or someone else is in immediate danger in Canada, call 911. For crisis or safety support, contact a qualified local service or shelter.

POA does not guarantee outcomes and does not provide legal advice. Qualified professionals retain control of all sensitive decisions. Formal privacy, legal, security and data-residency reviews are pending before any live deployment.
